Ein Dorf geht auf Reisen…

 

Liebe Leserinnen, liebe Leser,

Am diesem Freitag wird im Museum Kartause Astheim eine neue Ausstellung eröffnet. Die Ausstellung zeigt Werke der Modernen Kunst aus der Sammlung des Museums am Dom in Würzburg neben Werken der Christlichen Kunst aus mehreren Jahrhunderten. Unter den ausgestellten Werken sind zwei Bilder aus der Portraitserie „Das Dorf“.

This Friday the Museum Kartause Astheim will open a new exhibition. The exhibition will show modern artworks from the collection of the Museum am Dom Würzburg beside Christian artworks from different centuries. Two of the presented pieces are portraits from the sequel “Das Dorf”.

Liebe Leserinnen, liebe Leser,

hier seht Ihr Steffi. Steffi´s Blog heißt Steffi´s Welt der Wunder. Ähnlich wie Sylvi testet sie für Euch Produkte aller Art. Steffi scheint ein Mensch mit viel Sonne im Herzen zu sein. Ihr Motto erinnert mich an den Song von Louis Armstrong „What a Wonderful World“.

Was Ihr hier seht, ist das Portrait von Sylvi. Ihr Blog heißt Vintage-Lifestyle und der Name ist Programm. Sie stellt Produkte im Retro-Look vor und vor allem testet sie welche für Euch. Ich habe Euch das Portrait von Sylvi als postmodernes Madonnenbild angekündigt.

Entscheidet selbst, ob ich mein Versprechen einlösen konnte.

Kunst im Koffer

Liebe Leserinnen, liebe Leser,

ich habe Euch bereits einige Male von der Sammlung Hussong berichtet. Morgen wird im Korbmacher-Museum Dalhausen die Ausstellung „Kunst im Koffer“ eröffnet. Zu sehen sind, kleine Alltagsgegenstände und Objekte aus dem Besitz Bildender Künstler verpackt in kleinen Koffern. Einer dieser Künstler bin ich.

I have told you about the Hussong collection many times. Tomorrow the Korbmacher-Museum Dalhausen will open the exhibition “Art in a Suitcase”. You can see there commodities from artists wrapped in small suitcases. One of these artists is me.

Das seh ich anders – dank dir

Liebe Leserinnen, liebe Leser,

Ihr seht hier ein paar Ansichten der aktuellen Ausstellung „Das seh ich anders – dank dir“ im Kunstverein 68elf. Die Ausstellung zeigt Künstler im Dialog miteinander. Für meinen Dialog habe ich mir Jörg W. Schirmer aus Essen ausgesucht. Jörg ist Maler und Bildhauer und ein langjähriger Freund. Mein Ausstellungsbeitrag ist das Bild „Nadine“ und Jörg lieferte den „Krisenengel“. Unser gemeinsames Thema ist das Androgen.

In this posting you can see some impressions from the current exhibition “I beg to differ – due to you” at the 68elf art association. It shows artists in a dialogue. My dialog partner is Jörg W. Schirmer from Essen. He is a painter and a sculptor and a very good friend. My contribution is the portrait “Nadine” and Jörg is showing the “Angel of Crisis”. Our subject is the androgen.
